Every Human Must Read This..
The physically disabled are excluded from numerous parts of society. A major place where they are excluded from is buildings that can’t accommodate them because they don’t have the ramps that need to be used and things like that. Since buildings aren’t ready for them then people who are physically disabled have a limited number of places where they can go, which in the end makes them even more marginalized then before.
Another place in society where they are excluded from is the work place. People aren’t supposed to judge someone and not give them a job just because they are disabled. But, it happens anyways. That makes it hard for them to live in their own and become more independent.
The physically disabled are also excluded from doing sports activities when people who aren’t handicapped. This makes it hard for them to participate in activities because they would have to find a place where the disabled can all play together, in like a league, and those might not be very common in some places.
They are also excluded from possibly hanging out with people that aren’t disabled. Others might not want to associate with them or give them a chance to see who they really are behind their disability. That poses as a problem because it’s not fair to judge someone just because they have a disability.
Heart Touching Story About The Existence of God
A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard trimmed as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber that attended him. They talked about many things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched on the subject of God.
The barber said: “Look man, I don’t believe that God exists as you say.” “Why do you say that?” asked his client. “Well, it’s so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Tell me, if God existed, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can’t think of loving a God who permits all of these things.”
The client stopped for a moment, thinking, but he didn’t want to respond so as to cause an argument. The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop. Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street with shaggy, long hair and a beard (it seems that it had been a long time since he had his cut, and he looked so untidy). Then the client again entered the barber shop and he said to the barber: “You know
what? I think barbers do not exist.”
“How can you say they don’t exist?” asked the barber. “I am a barber and here I am.” “No!” the client exclaimed. “They don’t exist; if they did there would be no people with shaggy, long hair and beards like that man who walks in the street.”
“Ah, barbers do exist,” said the barber. “What happens is that people do not come to me.” “Exactly!” affirmed the client. “That’s the point. God ...
Greatest Dad In The World
I try to be a good father. Give my kids mulligans. Work nights to pay for their text messaging. Take them to swimsuit shoots.
But compared with Dick Hoyt, I’m suck.
Eighty-five times he’s pushed his disabled son, Rick, 26.2 miles in marathons. Eight times he’s not only pushed him 26.2 miles in a wheelchair but also towed him 2.4 miles in a dinghy while swimming and pedaled him 112 miles in a seat on the handlebars — all in the same day.
Dick’s also pulled him cross-country skiing, taken him on his back mountain climbing and once hauled him across the U.S. on a bike. Makes taking your son bowling look a little lame, right?
And what has Rick done for his father? Not much — except save his life.
This love story began in Winchester, Mass., 43 years ago, when Rick was strangled by the umbilical cord during birth, leaving him brain-damaged and unable to control his limbs.
“He’ll be a vegetable the rest of his life,” Dick says doctors told him and his wife, Judy, when Rick was nine months old. “Put him in an institution.”
But the Hoyts weren’t buying it. They noticed the way Rick’s eyes followed them around the room. When Rick was 11 they took him to the engineering department at Tufts University and asked if there was anything to help the boy communicate. “No way,” Dick says he was told. “There’s nothing going on in his brain.”
“Tell him a joke,” Dick countered. They did. Rick laughed. Turns out a lot was going on in ...
Inspiring Story of The Power of Determination
The little country schoolhouse was heated by an old-fashioned, pot-bellied coal stove. A little boy had the job of coming to school early each day to start the fire and warm the room before his teacher and his classmates arrived.
One morning they arrived to find the schoolhouse engulfed in flames. They dragged the unconscious little boy out of the flaming building more dead than alive. He had major burns over the lower half of his body and was taken to a nearby county hospital.
From his bed the dreadfully burned, semi-conscious little boy faintly heard the doctor talking to his mother. The doctor told his mother that her son would surely die – which was for the best, really – for the terrible fire had devastated the lower half of his body.
But the brave boy didn’t want to die. He made up his mind that he would survive. Somehow, to the amazement of the physician, he did survive. When the mortal danger was past, he again heard the doctor and his mother speaking quietly. The mother was told that since the fire had destroyed so much flesh in the lower part of his body, it would almost be better if he had died, since he was doomed to be a lifetime cripple with no use at all of his lower limbs.
Once more the brave boy made up his mind. He would not be a cripple. He would walk. But unfortunately from the waist down, he had no motor ability. His thin legs just dangled there, all but lifeless.
Ultimately he was released from the hospital. Every day his mother would massage his little legs, but there was no feeling, no control, nothing. Yet ...
Sharpening Your Axe
A man was walking in a forest one day, and he met a woodcutter. It was a hot day, and he sat down for a smoke and
engaged in friendly banter with the woodcutter – things about the weather and such. 5 Marlboros later, he asked, “Mr. Woodcutter, you’ve been making little progress on chopping down the tree the last half hour. Perhaps your axe is too blunt, why don’t you sharpen it?”
“That’s the truth! The axe has not been sharpened for a long while now, I could make far better progress with a sharp axe!” said the woodcutter.
“Then why not you take some time to sharpen it now? You’d make good progress!” said the man.
“I don’t really have time for that, you know. I gotta chop down all these trees, I don’t have the luxury of sharpening my axe,” replied the woodcutter.
Everybody I know identifies with this story to some degree, and I see a good number people I know, including myself, in the shoes of the woodcutter at times. What is perfectly clear is this: the axe would eventually have to be sharpened or it will be blunted to such an extent that even minimal progress will be impossible. Questions abound: When do we need to sharpen the axe? How many times do we sharpen? Would a partial sharpening do, or do we need to sharpen it to full keeness?
The principle is clear to me – just sharpen the axe sufficiently, as an when would serve to accomplish your work in the minimum time, with minimal effort expended since effort per unit time is assumed a constant. Draw a crucial distinction ...
Stop Abortion & Killing of Girl Child – Touching Story
I am in Heaven now. I so wanted to be your little girl. I don’t quite understand
what has happened. I was so excited when I began realizing my existance. I was
in a dark, yet comfortable place. I saw I had fingers and toes. I was pretty far
along in my developing, yet not near ready to leave my surroundings. I spent most of my
time thinking or sleeping. Even from my earliest days, I felt a special bonding between you
and me.
Sometimes I heard you crying and I cried with you.
Sometimes you would yell or scream, then cry. I heard
Daddy yelling back. I was sad, and hoped you would be
better soon. I wondered why you cried so much. One day
you cried almost all of the day. I hurt for you. I couldn’t
imagine why you were so unhappy.
That same day, the most horrible thing happened. A very
mean monster came into that warm, comfortable place I
was in. I was so scared, I began screaming, but you
never once tried to help me. Maybe you never heard me.
The monster got closer and closer as I was screaming
and screaming, “Mommy, Mommy, help me please;
Mommy, help me.” C omplete terror is all I felt. I
screamed and screamed until I thought I couldn’t anymore. Then the monster started ripping
my arms off. It hurt so bad; the pain I can never explain. It didn’t stop.
Oh, how I begged it to stop. I screamed in horror as it ripped my leg off.
Though I was in such complete pain, I was dying. I knew I would never see your face or hear
you say how much you love me. I wanted to make all your tears go away. I had so many
plans to make you happy. Now I couldn’t; all my dreams ...

Touching Story..!!!
The boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.
The Cashier said, ‘I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy this doll.’
Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ”Granny,
are you sure I don’t have enough money?”
The old lady replied: ”You know that you don’t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.”
Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly.
The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.
Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.
‘It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas.
She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.’
I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.
But he replied to me sadly. ‘No, Santa Claus can’t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.’
His eyes were so sad while saying this. ‘My Sister has gone to be with God.
Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.”
My heart nearly stopped.
The little boy looked up at me and said: ‘I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet.
I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.’
Then he showed me a very nice photo ...
Its Too Late – Real Story
LET’S SHOW our love while we can, while people need us. That is something I learnt from an incident in Bhopal .
I saw a little boy daily near the Hanuman temple, always in a white tee and black pants, with a small Hanuman pendant around his neck.
He sat with a basket of fresh floral garlands. Be it at six in the morning or nine at night, he would try his very hardest to sell his wares.
I was a frequent temple goer and each time the boy would ask me earnestly to buy a garland. But somehow I never did. Even when I came out, he would follow me to my car, begging me to buy one at least.
Other boys sold flowers too, but none as persistently as he. I went back to the temple recently after a gap of some months.
The boy was there, seated exactly as before. I tried to avoid his gaze(look), assuming that he would follow me. But he did not budge(move).
I went inside the temple and came back. But the boy made no effort to sell his garlands.
I thought he was angry or just showing his own self-respect.
I suddenly missed the communication. I always had with this unknown boy and went to him. He looked at me but did not speak.
This was strange. I gathered courage and asked: “Bhaiya, why are you not asking me to buy your garlands?”
He said, “Didi, why should I ask? You are rich but you can’t spend five rupees on my garland. Anyway now I am not so desperate. My sister was suffering from cancer and I had to work for her medicines. My father had left us. My mother makes the garlands and I sell them. We used the money ...
A True Story About a Man’s Sacrifice
This is a true story, dates back to the British rule in India.
The Pamban Bridge is situated in Tamil Nadu, India. At the entrance of the bridge you can see a picture of a weeping man holding some human body parts close to his chest.
This bridge was built during the British rule in India and it was constructed in such a way that the center portion of the bridge could be lifted with the help of huge wheels, so that ships could easily pass under the bridge. On the bridge, roads and rail tracks are laid for trains and other vehicles to pass…
A middle aged man was appointed to roll the wheels up and down when ships arrive. Once he saw a train slowly approaching, while he was pulling back the bridge after a ship quietly passed beneath. He had to pull back quickly or else there would be a fatal accident and thousands would have died.
At that time his 9 year old son came with lunch. When he saw his father struggling with the wheels, he kept the lunch box down and started helping him to roll the wheels to put the bridge back. Suddenly his son’s finger got caught inside the wheel and he started crying out. At this time if the father tries to save his son, the bridge could not be put back on time. He had no other option but to ignore his son’s cry. With all his strength he kept on rolling the wheels to down the bridge. As the wheels rolled on, his son slowly started slipping away into the huge machine.
Tears rolled down his father’s cheeks, but he ignored his son’s cry. If he tried to save him, the train will surely fall into the sea and ...
A True Story Happened In Japan
This is a true story that happened in Japan.
In order to renovate thehouse,
someone in Japan breaks open the wall.
Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.
When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there
because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.
He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail,
it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was! first built.
What happened?
The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years!!!!!!!!!!
In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible and mind-boggling.
Then he wondered howthis lizard survived for 10 years! without moving a single step–since its foot wasnailed!
So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating.
Later, not knowing from where it came, appears another lizard, with food in its mouth.
Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply.
For the lizard
that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 10 years…
Imagine? it has been doing that untiringly for 10 long years, without giving up hope on its partner.
Think, will u do that to your partner?
Think that will you do it to your Mom,Who brought you after a big struggle of Nine long months ?
Or at least to your Dad, Friends, Co-workers, brothers and Sisters?
Imagine what a small creature can do that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind can’t.

Happiness Comes From Giving (Nice Story)
This story is about a beautiful, expensively dressed lady who complained
to her psychiatrist that she felt that her whole life was empty, it had no meaning.
So, the lady went to visit a counselor to seek out happiness.
The counselor called over the old lady who cleaned the office floors.
The counselor then said to the rich lady”I’m going to ask Mary here
to tell you how she found happiness. All I want you to do is listen to her.”
So the old lady put down her broom and sat on a chair and told her story:
“Well, my husband died of malaria and three months later
my only son was killed by a car.
I had nobody… I had nothing left. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t eat,
I never smiled at anyone, I even thought of taking my own life.
Then one evening a little kitten followed me home from work.
Somehow I felt sorry for that kitten. It was cold outside, so I decided
to let the kitten in. I got it some milk, and the kitten licked the plate clean.
Then it purred and rubbed against my leg and for the first time in months,
I smiled.
Then I stopped to think, if helping a little kitten could make me smile,
maybe doing something for people could make me happy.
So the next day I baked some biscuits and took them to a neighbor
who was sick in bed.
Every day I tried to do something nice for someone.
It made me so happy to see them happy.
Today, I don’t know of anybody who sleeps and eats
better than I do.
I’ve found happiness, by giving it to others.”
When she heard that the rich lady cried.
She had everything that money could buy, but
she had lost ...

Valentine Roses – A touching story
Red roses were her favorites, her name was also Rose.
And every year her husband sent them, tied with pretty bows.
The year he died, the roses were delivered to her door.
The card said, “Be my Valentine,” like all the years before.
Each year he sent her roses, and the note would always say,
“I love you even more this year, than last year on this day.”
“My love for you will always grow, with every passing year.”
She knew this was the last time that the roses would appear.
She thought, he ordered roses in advance before this day.
Her loving husband did not know, that he would pass away.
He always liked to do things early, way before the time.
Then, if he got too busy, everything would work out fine.
She trimmed the stems, and placed them in a very special vase.
Then, sat the vase beside the portrait of his smiling face.
She would sit for hours, in her husband’s favorite chair.
While staring at his picture, and the roses sitting there.
A year went by, and it was hard to live without her mate.
With loneliness and solitude, that had become her fate.
Then, the very hour, as on Valentines before,
The doorbell rang, and there were roses, sitting by her door
She brought the roses in, and then just looked at them in shock.
Then, went to get the telephone, to call the florist shop.
The owner answered, and she asked him, if he would explain,
Why would someone do this to her, causing her such pain?
“I know your husband passed away, more than a year ago,”
The owner said, “I ...

A Heart Touching Story of Humanity
A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor. On seeing him, the dad yelled:
“Why did U take all this time to come? Don’t U know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t U have any sense of responsibility?”
Th…e doctor smiled & said:
“I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”
“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would U calm down? If your own son dies now what will U do??” said the father angrily
The doctor smiled again & replied: “I will say what Job said in the Holy Book “From dust we came & to dust we return, blessed be the name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go & intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace”
“Giving advises when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.
The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,
“Thank goodness!, your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If U have any question, ask the nurse!!”
“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.
The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His ...
